Agreed!

My friends all have iPhones, but I have a Droid.

I aint jealouse or anything, they have theirs, I have mine.

Different people, different needs.

Stef, you have a point.
I have a ipad i love and i have a android phone i love. Maybe the right answer is why do we we need to take a side. It will be time that someone comes with a tablet that runs android and ios (dual boot?) so we can choose the hardware we like and run all software!
Marco
You are just as guilty participating in this debate than anyone else, this article is proof, since you write it in defence of Android, even though you yourself do not seem to notice.
If Arment would write exactly the same article but for the opposite party, I am sure you would not have written this.

Fanboyism is of all times. And it will never go away. Which is good, since this is where the marketing departments thrive on.

And FWIW:
"I too have my preference and without emotional arguments I can simply observe my own behaviour" is not true. Everything everyone does is based on emotion, even if you're not aware of that. And that's also been proven: http://cl.mf72.eu/7iMv

So, no, I don't think this is discussion will ever and. And I also believe there is more than just iOS and Android - Win Mobile, WebOS. So there's even more to discuss.
Nicky
But why not loving both, I have a Ipad and an Android phone and i like it like that ;-)

Okey a new Ipad would be great but for now the old one is good enough.
Peter
And it will become even more complex, the windows phone is winning marketshare bit by bit.
Stef
I read this on the toilet with my tablet. Thought it was appropriate.
